Hoshiarpur- Today here at Shaheed Sathi Channan Singh Dhoot Bhawan office of CPI (M) district Hoshiarpur; 3 Left parties' representatives and Union Home Minister Amit Shah had called for protests and burning of earth in the entire Punjab against the derogatory words used in the Parliament for the creator of the country's constitution, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
Following that, the effigy of Home Minister Amit Shah was taken from the party office and burnt near the bus stand in front of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar's memorial in Hoshiarpur. On this occasion, CPI (M) State Committee Member Comrade Gurmesh Singh, CPI leader Unkar Singh, Labor Party President Comrade Jai Gopal Dhiman and CITU leader Comrade Dhanpat Bassi Daulat Khan presented their views. All the speakers strongly condemned the Home Minister and appealed to the Left and secular parties to unite and protect the Constitution. On this occasion, comrades Balwinder Singh, Gurmail Singh, Prem Lata, Surinder Kaur, Krishan Gopal, Sukhdev Singh Dhami, Malkit Singh, Tirath Singh Sator, Inderpal Singh Ahirana, Parshan Singh Lahi, Ram Niwas, Surinder Kumar and Baljit Kumar etc. were present.
