
Retired Employees Union held a meeting under the chairmanship of Chairman Kulwant Singh Saini
Hoshiarpur- A special meeting of the Municipal Retired Employees Union was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Kulwant Singh Saini. In which union leaders and eminent social workers Sanjeev Arora were specially present. Discussing the main demands of the retired employees in the meeting, President Kulwant Singh Saini said that the pension that retired employees get every month is sometimes delayed even till the 10th.

Discussing the main demands of the retired employees in the meeting, President Kulwant Singh Saini said that the pension that retired employees get every month is sometimes delayed even till the 10th.
The government was warned in the meeting that if the pension is not credited to the account on time i.e. by the 1st-2nd, the union will launch a struggle against the government. On this occasion, Principal Sanjeev Arora said that the outstanding DA of the employees.
The outstanding dues of the new scales implemented should also be paid as soon as possible because whenever the elected representatives of the government go to any function, the union gives a demand letter to those leaders and assures them of fulfilling their demands soon. But in case of not accepting the demands, the government becomes a laughing stock.
Therefore, the government should not become a laughing stock and the demands should be accepted and implemented as soon as possible, otherwise the government may have to face defeat in the upcoming elections. Secretary Joginder Pal Adia said that on one hand the government says that the treasury of the Punjab government is full, on the other hand, neither anything is being given to the employees nor any development is seen, due to which every section is unhappy with the government.
During the meeting, Ashwani Sharma JE was honored with a commemorative plaque on completion of 65 years because the union honors every employee on completion of 65 years of age. On this occasion, Joginder Pal Adia, Ashwani Sharma, Surinder Kumar, Dashrath Lal, Surjit Singh, Lal Singh, Sita Ram, Surjit Lal, Harish Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Amarjit Singh, Ashwani Kumar, Vijay Kumar etc. were present.
