During this, Civil Surgeon Dr. Pawan Kumar said that AIDS is one of the biggest threats to humans. The only way to avoid this is to get complete and accurate information about HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Because only with this knowledge can one save one's life from AIDS. With good food and timely medication, one can live a long life. Sharing information with the students, she said that the immune system (defense system) becomes weak due to the HIV virus. As a result, the susceptibility to many infections, cancer and other diseases increases. Which only people with a healthy immune system can fight.
Dr. Swati said that people affected by HIV/AIDS are discriminated against by the society. Therefore, many people do not get their HIV tested or do not take medicine due to the fear of being rejected by the society. Rather, HIV does not spread for any other reason than the above four reasons. Therefore, one should sympathize with the HIV-infected persons and provide full cooperation to their family members and other persons.
