SAS Nagar, December 02, 2024: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann will dedicate the Nishan-e-Inquilab Plaza to the nation at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar on December 4, 2024. This information was given here today by Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Ashika Jain.
Taking stock of the ongoing preparations, the Deputy Commissioner said that the 30 feet tall statue of the great freedom fighter and national hero Sardar Bhagat Singh will be the main attraction in this plaza. Which will make people aware of the great sacrifices made for the freedom struggle of the country. He directed the Public Works Department and other departments to complete the preparations for the inauguration of the plaza and said that to make this event grand, there should be proper coordination between all the departments and everyone should work together without any hindrance.
He said that there will be no problem in the movement of people during this event and special attention has been paid to keeping the airport area free from any kind of obstruction in traffic. On this occasion, ADC Viraj S. Tidke and Sonam Chaudhary, Commissioner MCT Benith, ACA GMADA Amarinder Singh Tiwana, SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur, SP (Traffic) HS Mann, Executive Engineers Public Works Department Shivpreet Singh and SS Bhullar, Executive Engineer (Horticulture) GMADA Mandeep Singh and other senior officers were present.
