
All preparations completed at Lajwanti Stadium for oath-taking ceremony of 9314 elected representatives - Deputy Commissioner
Hoshiarpur: The district administration has completed all preparations at the local Lajwanti Stadium near Tanda Bypass for the oath-taking ceremony of Panches and Sarpanches on Tuesday. A total of 9314 Panches and Sarpanches of 1403 Panchayats will take oath in this ceremony, for which all the necessary arrangements have been made.

A total of 9314 Panches and Sarpanches of 1403 Panchayats will take oath in this ceremony, for which all the necessary arrangements have been made.
Giving detailed information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that Local Government and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh will attend as the chief guest. Apart from this, Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal and MLAs will also attend. He said that the seating arrangement of the elected representatives has been divided into different blocks, so that they can sit at their designated places.
During this, the Deputy Commissioner himself visited the venue and reviewed the preparations and arrangements. He directed the concerned officers to ensure complete security and other arrangements so that this grand event could be conducted smoothly. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Nicas Kumar along with officers of various departments were also present on the occasion.
