Garhshankar 26, November: Jasmine, a student of class X of Government Senior Secondary School Dhamai, secured first position in the entire district in the district-level essay competition on the topic of Voluntary Blood Donation Day under the Youth Education Program held under the direction of the Education Department. S. School Paddi Sura Singh (Hoshiarpur), in which one student each from different middle high and secondary schools in the district participated, 
in which Jasmine, a student of class X of Government Senior Secondary School Dhamai, secured first position in the district. Under which student Jasmine received a cash prize of three thousand rupees. Today, student Jasmine, who stood first in the district in the school, and all the students Sunaina, Alisha, Kajal, Manjot Kaur and Sanjana, who secured good positions in the competition organized in the school to prepare for this competition, were honored.
