SAS Nagar, November 23, 2024: A special campaign has been launched by the Municipal Corporation Mohali (SAS Nagar) to improve the appearance of the city. In which the work of removing debris from the city roads, repairing roads etc. is being done. Under this campaign, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, T. Benith, along with the officials of the Municipal Corporation, today visited various roads of the city, RMC points and ongoing development works in the city.
During this visit, various roads such as Phase 3A Lights to Lakhnaur Entry; Gurdwara Singh Shaheed to YPS Chowk; YPS School Road, Jail Road, Phase 9/10 Dividing; Phase 10/11 Dividing Road; The works being carried out on Sector 66/67 dividing road such as removal of debris, repair of center-edge, repair of grills, painting of street light poles and removal of ‘horticultural waste’ etc. were inspected. The Commissioner Municipal Corporation directed the officials to do these works on priority basis.
He also visited the ongoing development works in the city. Apart from this, instructions were also issued to the officials of the sanitation branch to ensure cleanliness on these roads. After this, various RMC points of the city were also visited. And the officials were given instructions regarding proper management of waste.
After visiting the C&D waste plant of the Municipal Corporation, Commissioner T. Benith also visited various ‘public toilets’ in the city and Rose Garden Park Phase 3B1.
