
Shikha Nehra took charge as Deputy Director Public Relations Patiala
Patiala, October 14 - Shikha Nehra, Deputy Director, Public Relations Department Punjab has taken over as Deputy Director Patiala at Patiala. Shikha Nehra has become the first woman officer to hold this divisional post created recently by the department. He has been playing an excellent role in the public relations department for 33 years. Before this he also worked in Bathinda as Deputy Director Public Relations.

Shikha Nehra has become the first woman officer to hold this divisional post created recently by the department. He has been playing an excellent role in the public relations department for 33 years. Before this he also worked in Bathinda as Deputy Director Public Relations.
Shikha Nehra started her career as an Assistant Public Relations Officer (APRO). During his service he has worked with distinction in various roles with Governor of Punjab, Deputy Chief Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court and Chief Electoral Officer, 12 Chief Secretaries in the department.
He also played an important role as the editor of the government publication 'Advance' for many years. Apart from these positions, he also handled the social media, electronic media and panmedia sections of the department. His experience and commitment to work has earned him an excellent reputation in the department and various government sectors.
After assuming the post, Shikha Nehra thanked the government especially Secretary Public Relations Department Malwinder Singh Jaggi for giving him this responsibility and giving him the opportunity to serve at Patiala. They said that they look forward to serving the public and continuing their legacy of excellence in public relations, promising to discharge their responsibilities with passion and commitment.
