We should be aware of such people and be alert to avoid this evil quagmire of drugs. He said that addiction is a mental disease. He said that diseases caused by the use of drugs such as HCV, HIV. Liver diseases etc. are serious diseases. Addressing the seminar, Kamaljit Kaur (Counselor) gave information about the Red Cross De-addiction Center and its admission process. He also said that drug addicts are treated absolutely free.
