Hoshiarpur - District Red Cross Society is running 'Sanjhi Rasoi' project very successfully in Mohalla Ish Nagar, Hoshiarpur under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, which is benefiting 400 to 500 poor/needy people daily. Giving information in this regard, Secretary District Red Cross Society Mangesh Sood said that for the success of this project, family members of NRC Sheela Devi, village Chandeli, Chabewal namely Dania, Aniyal, Anchal, Anisha and Dr. JS Saini Mahilpur donated ration worth Rs 26,000 to Sanjhi Rasoi. He said that this project being run by District Red Cross is being run with the funds provided as donations by the philanthropists/social workers of the district. They provide continuous financial support as well as ration material to celebrate the birthdays, marriage anniversaries and memorial days of their family members in Sanjhi Rasoi under Book-a-Day scheme. Accountant Red Cross Sarabjit Kaur, Steno Clerk Gurpreet Kaur and Clerk Hema Pandey were also present on the occasion.
