Una, July 24- Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal today visited Bhaira, Hamboli, Katohar Kalan and Kuthera Khairla Panchayats of Sub-Division Amb and inspected various developmental projects going on there. During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned Block Development Officer (BDO), Panchayat Secretaries and Panchayat Pradhans to regularly monitor the progress of all development works and to complete the works with quality within the stipulated time frame.
The Deputy Commissioner said that it is the priority of the government that the benefits of development schemes reach the last person on time and with transparency. He said that the schemes implemented at the Panchayat level not only strengthen the rural structure but also become a means of bringing concrete improvement in the lives of the common people. Therefore, delay or irregularity in these schemes will not be accepted at any level.
On this occasion, Panchayat representatives of the concerned Panchayats including BDO Om Dogra were present on the spot.
