
Deputy Speaker Raudi inaugurates several roads to strengthen connectivity of villages.
Hoshiarpur:- Taking a major step towards strengthening rural infrastructure and connectivity, Deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha and MLA from Garhshankar constituency Jai Krishan Singh Raudi today inaugurated newly constructed and upgraded roads in Garhshankar and adjoining areas.

These roads included Boda to Thana road, Kullewal to Bagwai road, Ghagaon Guru to Mukandpur road to Chak Phulu road to Shahegar road, Nawanshahr road to Rasulpur Basiala, Chauhra road to Bheen road (SBS Nagar), Kalewal Lallian road to Khabra road, Mahalpur to Khabra road, Mahalpur road to Badoan, Sardulpur and Paldi road.
During the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Speaker Raudi said that today is the beginning of a new era of development in Garhshankar. In a few days, people will see more development works becoming a reality. He said that as per the promises made by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government is committed to the development of every sector.
He stressed that better road connectivity is the foundation of development as it increases economic opportunities, improves access to health services and education and reduces travel-related hassles for the residents of rural areas. He said that with this initiative, the Punjab government has once again reiterated its promise of development for all, ensuring that the momentum of progress reaches every corner of the state.
The people of the constituency welcomed these development works wholeheartedly and thanked their MLA for fulfilling his promises and for the continuous development of the area. Many local residents described the new roads as “lifelines” that will help in making travel easier, facilitating trade and strengthening village-village connectivity.
On this occasion, all the Gram Panchayats, the general public and the Deputy Speaker thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
