
'Sweep' Patiala held a meeting with voters going to vote for the first time
Patiala, May 7 - According to the directions of the District Election Officer, Patiala Shaukat Ahmed Pare, meetings were held today with the voters going to vote for the first time by the district sweep team for the purpose of making the voters aware about the Lok Sabha elections to be held on June 1, 2024. The first meeting was held at Government Ayurvedic College, Patiala.

The first meeting was held at Government Ayurvedic College, Patiala.
Where about 200 students got information about the Election Commission's facilities for voters like various apps, 12-D form and special facilities for disabled voters. District Sweep Nodal Officer Dr Savinder Rekhi asked the students to share the above information with their friends, relatives and neighbors and encouraged the student voters to go door to door to vote in their neighborhood for the strengthening of democracy.
During this meeting, Arshdeep Kaur, a student of Ayurvedic College, also presented a work on her experiences about going to vote for the first time. On this occasion, Mr. Rupinder Singh, Nodal Officer of Sweep Patiala-115, Dr. Amandeep Singh, Nodal Officer of Ayurvedic College, District Assistant Nodal Officer Mohit Kaushal and Avtar Singh were present.
