Road dug for laying sewage poses risk of accidents Satish Kumar Soni
Garhshankar:- The road dug by the state government in the name of development for laying sewage at Nangal Chowk has posed a risk of accidents. This view was expressed by Satish Kumar Soni, founder president of Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society Punjab, during a press conference. He said that three months ago, the road was dug for laying sewage at Nangal Chowk and Birampur Road. Due to which the condition of the road had become critical.
But after the completion of the sewage work, the responsibility of constructing the road fell on the Sewerage Department. After a long time had passed since the completion of the sewage work, the Sewerage Department and the PWD Department left the road in a dilapidated condition. No attention was paid to its construction. Due to the dilapidated road in Nangal Chowk, there is always a risk of accidents.
While on rainy days, two-wheeler drivers also get into accidents due to slippery conditions due to mud. He said that Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society (Regd) Punjab demands through this press note that the dilapidated road in Nangal Chowk should be constructed as soon as possible.
