Dispose of land mutation related cases quickly DC Rahul Narwal
Hansi:- Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal directed the officials of the Revenue Department to ensure speedy disposal of land mutation related cases on priority basis. He said that there should not be any unnecessary delay in disposal of revenue cases related to common people under any circumstances. Land registry work also should not remain pending for more than five days and disposal of cases should be ensured within prescribed time period.
DC Rahul Narwal was presiding over a meeting of officers of Revenue Department in the District Secretariat complex on Wednesday. In the meeting, he reviewed the progress of land mutation, paperless deed registration, paperless demarcation, Jamabandi and other revenue cases in the district.
Deputy Commissioner directed the officers that all pending cases related to land mutation should be regularly reviewed and disposed of on priority basis. He said that to ensure people do not have to make unnecessary rounds of offices for their land-related works, revenue services should be made simple, transparent and time-bound available.
He directed the officers that the Jamabandi work of villages which is still pending should also be completed soon. In the meeting, concerned officials told that Jamabandi work of Mirzapur village in the district is pending, which is being completed rapidly. Officials assured that Jamabandi work of Mirzapur village will also be completed soon.
**Instructions for arrangement for Patwaris to sit at one place
DC Rahul Narwal said that proper sitting arrangement for Patwaris should be made, so that common people get facility for works related to Revenue Department. He directed the officers to search for a suitable building on rent for Patwaris, where all Patwaris can sit at one place and do revenue related works. This will eliminate the need for people to go to different places for their work and better coordination of revenue services will also be ensured.
He told the officers that giving top priority to convenience of common people, all works related to Revenue Department should be completed in an organized manner. Instructions were also given to officers to monitor pending cases in their respective areas and ensure their disposal within prescribed time limit.
**Instructions to set up IT Cell in District Secretariat
Deputy Commissioner also directed to set up IT Cell in District Secretariat complex. He said that to complete works related to Revenue Department quickly through online and technical means, it is necessary to strengthen IT facilities. With the establishment of IT Cell, disposal of online records, digital services and other technical works will be expedited and officials will also be facilitated in monitoring works.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner also took information from Revenue Department officials about progress of paperless deed registration, paperless demarcation, disposal of mutations, mutations decided in camps organized by district administration, large scale mapping, cases of revenue courts, arbitration cases under National Highway Act, Jamabandi and standardization of revenue records. He directed concerned officials to expedite all works and complete pending cases within prescribed time limit.
DC also reviewed works related to Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and directed officials to complete works in a time-bound manner as per instructions of Election Commission.
He said that the main objective of administration is to provide benefits of government services to people in a simple, transparent and time-bound manner. Therefore all officers should regularly review works related to their department and dispose of pending cases on priority basis.
In the meeting, SDM Rajesh Khoth, SDM of Narnaund Vikas Yadav, Tehsildar Dr. Anil Kumar Bidhan, Naib Tehsildar Suresh Kumar including all revenue officers of the district were present.
