Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the new Prime Ministers Office at Seva Tirath Complex
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated the new Prime Minister's Office complex, which has been named 'Teerth Bhawan'. On this occasion, he first signed important files related to the empowerment of the poor, farmers, youth and women. Till now, the Prime Minister's Office, National Security Council Secretariat and Cabinet Secretariat were working from different buildings, due to which there were difficulties in coordination.
Now all these important offices will be located in a single complex 'Teerth Bhawan'. This new complex reflects the government's commitment to a modern, efficient and citizen-centric governance system.
Immediately after the inauguration, the Prime Minister approved several public welfare schemes
Relief for accident victims: 'PM Rahat Yojana' has been approved to provide cashless treatment of up to Rs 1.5 lakh to accident victims.
Lakhpati Didi Yojana: The target of 'Lakhpati Didi' Yojana has been doubled to 6 crore to boost women empowerment.
Big announcement for farmers: The target of Agriculture Infrastructure Fund has been increased from Rs 1 lakh crore to Rs 2 lakh crore, which will help in increasing farmers' income.
For youth and startups: 'Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0' with a fund of Rs 10,000 crore has been approved to encourage deep technology research. The Prime Minister said that these decisions strengthen the spirit of 'Nagrik Devo Bhav' and give new impetus to the concept of a developed India. He hoped that 'Teerth Bhavan' will continue to inspire the coming generations for selfless service and welfare of all.
