PECOSA Elections 2026 Results declared

Chandigarh, September 06, 2026: The results for the Punjab Engineering College Old Students Association (PECOSA) Elections 2026 have been declared, filling all office-bearer and 11 executive member positions. Harpreet Singh Oberoi from the 1993 batch was elected President, securing 1,106 votes (67.7%). He defeated Pankaj Gupta, who received 458 votes, and Mohit Srivastava, who polled 69 votes.
Sanjeev Moudgil from the 1985 batch was elected Vice President with 1,006 votes (62.5%), followed by Archana Rohela with 454 votes and Puneet Saxena with 150 votes. Zorawar Singh from the 1990 batch was elected General Secretary with 939 votes (57.7%), defeating Dr. Har Amrit Sandhu (626 votes) and Om Kanojia (62 votes). Ashwani Kundal from the 2009 batch was elected Treasurer with 1,015 votes (63.8%), defeating Shagun Sharma (576 votes). Sandeep Gupta from the 1988 batch was elected Joint Secretary with 1,036 votes (65.8%), while Dr. Rajendra Belokar received 476 votes and Arunesh Seth secured 62 votes.
The 11 elected executive members are Mridula Grover Dang (1984) with 1,027 votes, Jaswinder Singh Garcha (1972) with 993 votes, Rajiv Gupta (1981) with 975 votes, Akshay Raj Aggarwal (2012) with 936 votes, Prabhdeep Singh Sandhu (1975) with 929 votes, Vinod Kumar Jain (1977) with 919 votes, Sanjeev Jain (1988) with 919 votes, Harbhajan Singh Munde (1974) with 917 votes, Ashok Kumar Sharma (1976) with 910 votes, Vivek Mahajan (1996) with 898 votes, and Ayush Goyal (2018) with 876 votes. PECOSA congratulated all newly elected members and thanked all participants for engaging in the democratic process.
