MLA Jimpa launches Clean Punjab Proud Punjab campaign

Hoshiarpur:- The Punjab government launched the 'Clean Punjab, Proud Punjab' campaign today from Fatehgarh Chungi as part of a 10-day special cleanliness drive across the state. On this occasion, the cleanliness drive was launched in the presence of Hoshiarpur MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa, Mayor Praveen Saini, Senior Deputy Mayor Surinder Kumar, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Jyoti Bala Mattu, various councilors and municipal corporation officials.
On this occasion, MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is continuously making efforts to make the cities and villages of the state clean, beautiful and pollution-free. Under this objective, a 10-day special cleanliness drive is being run across Punjab, so that the cleanliness of public places, roads and surrounding areas can be further improved.
MLA Jimpa said that making a clean city is not only the responsibility of the government or the Municipal Corporation, but it is also the equal responsibility of every city dweller. If we take a resolution to keep our homes as well as the surrounding public places clean, then Hoshiarpur can be made even more beautiful and clean. He appealed to the city residents to throw garbage at designated places and cooperate with the Municipal Corporation in maintaining the cleanliness system.
He said that no deficiency will be left in the beautification and development of Hoshiarpur. Along with improving the cleanliness system of the city, continuous work is being done to enhance the beauty of the city. He said that with the cooperation of the people, the ‘Clean Punjab, Proud Punjab’ campaign will be made successful and everyone’s participation will be ensured in making Hoshiarpur a clean and beautiful city.
On this occasion, the officers, councilors and sanitation workers of the Municipal Corporation also took a resolution to make the campaign successful.
