McDonalds India North and East launches Cheesy Mushroom and Cheesy Chicken Burgers

Chandigarh: McDonald's India – North and East, operated by Connaught Plaza Restaurants Private Limited (CPRL), has announced the launch of its new Signature Collection with two new variants – Cheesy Chicken and Cheesy Mushroom. With this launch, McDonald's has stepped into India's new flavor flex era, bringing together premium ingredients, rich flavor layers, and a unique burger experience to be savored, seen, and shared.
Over the past few years, McDonald's has observed a clear shift in customer preferences. Customers now desire burgers that are richer and offer a more premium experience. Responding to this demand and the need to elevate the burger experience, McDonald's is bringing back its Signature Collection this year with two new offerings, keeping in mind customers who crave more with every bite. Each burger is crafted with bold and distinct layered ingredients that melt in your mouth and awaken your taste buds. It's a burst of flavor that will leave you saying 'Wow'.
The new Signature Collection includes Cheesy Mushroom (Rs. 239), where a rich, cheesy mushroom patty is layered with flavorful Italian sauce, tangy gherkins, and crisp lettuce, all nestled between a protein bun, creating a unique texture and taste experience.
Cheesy Chicken (Rs. 239), features a flame-grilled chicken patty layered with a juicy egg patty and balanced with tangy habanero sauce, crisp gherkins, and crunchy lettuce, all between a protein bun, offering a multi-layered bite. Rajeev Ranjan, Managing Director of McDonald's India – North and East, said, “The new Cheesy Mushroom and Cheesy Chicken variants are crafted with special layered ingredients that deliver a unique taste, texture, and a truly satisfying experience. By combining global flavors with ingredients sourced from India, we have created a flavor profile that will leave you saying ‘wow.’  We have also kept local preferences in mind.”
The Signature Collection is available at McDonald's restaurants across North and East India for dine-in, takeaway, drive-thru, and delivery through third-party aggregators.
