Patiala, August 21:- Kritika, who is trying to win a gold medal in the Olympic Games with the cooperation and support of the management and principal Mrs. Sarla Bhatnagar of Veer Haqiqat Rai Model Senior Secondary School, Patiala, is a good student as well as a determined and hard-working athlete. With the hopes of winning medals at the national and international level, she is going to Ghanaur from Patiala in the afternoon after studying in school every day to take training in wrestling.
Principal Mrs. Sarla Bhatnagar said that Kritika and many other children were encouraged for sports, after which she started wrestling in the year 2021. Many students of the school are state and national level players.
Kratika won the gold medal in the 2022-23 School District Games and the gold medal at the district level and the bronze medal at the state level in the Sports Homeland Punjab. The school also honored Kratika and her parents. Her mother is a housewife, while her father works as a furniture repairer. The school is providing financial assistance every month to provide the girl with good food and other facilities.
In the year 2022, she won the bronze medal at the state level in the junior competitions organized by the federation. In the years 2024 and 2025, she won the gold medal at the school district level and the silver medal at the state level. Apart from this, she also won the gold medal in the Open National Powerlifting Competition.
Now Kratika is preparing to win the gold medal in Thailand for international level competitions. She believes that by the grace of God and with the support of the school, she will grow up and perform best in national, international and Olympic games and will definitely get a gold medal in the lap of Mother India. Along with this, she will also try to bring happiness to her parents and increase the economic and social prestige of her family by joining the Punjab Police or Army.
