ISRO to launch Americas heaviest Bluebird6 satellite tomorrow
New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch America's 6.5-tonne Bluebird-6 satellite on December 15. The satellite was developed by American company ASTSpace Mobile.
It will be sent into low-Earth orbit aboard India's most powerful rocket, LVM-3. Bluebird-6 is one of the heaviest commercial satellites ever built. It was brought to India from the US on October 19. The launch will take place from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
