ISRO launches heaviest satellite
Sriharikota- ISRO launched a 4400 kg satellite this evening. This is the heaviest satellite ever launched from Indian soil to Geosynchronous Orbit GTO. This will increase the strength of the Navy and enhance its communication capabilities. After this, ISRO claimed that the communication satellite CMS-03 has been successfully placed on the designated path.
Earlier, ISRO had sent a 3900 kg payload to GTO in the Chandrayaan 3 mission. According to the information, this satellite was launched from Sriharikota at 5:26 pm. After the 24-hour countdown, the 43.5-meter-long rocket was launched at the scheduled time of 5.26 pm from the second launch pad at this spaceport, about 135 km from Chennai.
