Hansi:- Under the auspices of Bharat Swabhiman Nyas, District Hansi and Patanjali Yog Samiti, Hansi, Herb Day was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at Lala Hukumchand Park, Hansi on the occasion of Acharya Balkrishna's birthday.
The program started with Vedic chanting and Yagya. On this occasion, District In-charge Rajiv Kumar gave a message to Yoga practitioners and citizens to conserve, promote medicinal plants and to plant more and more saplings. He said that Ayurveda and medicinal plants are extremely important for healthy life and environmental protection, therefore every person must plant medicinal plants in his house and surroundings.
During the program, various medicinal plants including Tulsi, Giloy, Patharchatta, Aloe Vera, Sadabahar, Neem and Ashwagandha were distributed. Along with this, a Peepal sapling was also planted with the objective of environmental protection and nature promotion. All present took a pledge for regular care and conservation of plants.
On this occasion, Class Conductor and Yagya In-charge of Bharat Swabhiman Nyas, District Hansi Anil Sheoran, Jaisingh Pali, Mandeep Malik, In-charge of Kisan Seva Samiti, District Hansi Vedprakash Arya, Media In-charge Vijendra, Kuldeep, Jile Singh, Vicky, Satveer Malik, Advocate Pawan Saini, Kamlesh, Ompati, Satyawanti, Karambir Shastri including many Yoga practitioners and distinguished citizens were present.
At the end of the program, everyone took a collective pledge to plant maximum medicinal plants, to take regular care of them and to take the message of Yoga, Ayurveda and Swadeshi to every person.
