HarSimran Kaur Honoured for Participating in National Games

Patiala, September 9:- HarSimrat Kaur, a Class 8 student of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 PM DWLY, was honoured with a certificate of appreciation and a gold medal by Dedicated Brothers Group, Patiala, during a special function for winning a silver medal in table tennis at the state-level games of Kendriya Vidyalayas and for participating in the national-level games held in Chennai, thereby bringing laurels to Punjab. 
Punjab Police DSP Shri Ranbir Singh, DBG President Dr. Rakesh Verma, Secretary Shri Harpreet Sandhu, First Aid Safety Health Awareness Mission Chief Trainer Shri Kaka Ram Verma and Dr. Rishma Kohli, while honouring her, encouraged the child to continue practising regularly. On the occasion, HarSimran Kaur’s father Shri Som Sahota and mother Smt. Harmesh Kaur Sahota expressed their gratitude and informed that at the national-level games, she competed against a girl from Kolkata who has been winning continuously for the past 10 years.
