Gold Price Falls by Rs 1036 to Rs 151 Lakh
New Delhi:- Today, September 15, gold and silver prices recorded a decline. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold (10 grams) fell by Rs 1,036 to Rs 1.51 lakh. The price of silver (one kilogram) declined by Rs 179 to around Rs 2.29 lakh. During this month, silver has become cheaper by around Rs 8,000, while gold has become cheaper by Rs 5,000. On August 31, the price of gold was around Rs 1.56 lakh, while the price of silver was Rs 2.37 lakh.
Gold and silver prices have witnessed continuous fluctuations this year. So far, gold has become costlier by Rs 18,000. On December 31, 2025, the price of 10 grams of gold was Rs 1.33 lakh, which has now reached Rs 1.51 lakh. At the same time, on December 31, 2025, the price of silver was Rs 2.30 lakh per kilogram, which has now declined to around Rs 2.28 lakh.
During this period, gold had reached an all-time high of Rs 1.76 lakh, while the price of silver reached Rs 3.86 lakh on January 29.
