Get Gold Medal and Commendation Letter by Helping Victims Dr Rakesh Vermi
Patiala, August 19:- On the occasion of International Humanitarian Rescue Day, Chief Trainer of First Aid, Safety and Health Awareness Mission Mr. Kaka Ram Verma and President of Dedicated Brothers Group Dr. Rakesh Vermi gave information about the protection of humanity and helping victims to NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers and Scout-Guides at Veer Haqiqat Rai Model Senior Secondary School.
On this occasion, it was informed that the United Nations has emphasized on saving humanity at the international level during disasters, wars and sudden incidents. For this purpose, it was emphasized to provide training to maximum students and youth in disaster management, civil defense, first aid, fire safety and saving victims.
He said that due to the lack of proper first aid at the scene during sudden incidents, many victims do not get timely medical help. Therefore, it is very important for every student and youth to have knowledge of first aid and dealing with emergency situations.
On this occasion, the emphasis given by the Prime Minister of India on the occasion of Independence Day on preparing maximum students and youth as Civil Defense volunteers to protect the countrymen and help the victims was also mentioned.
Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, Disaster Management, Civil Defense and First Aid Trainer gave information about the importance of trainings, exercises and mock drills for the protection of citizens and helping the victims. He said that such trainings can prove to be very helpful in saving the lives of people during emergencies.
Dr. Rakesh Vermi said that if any student, citizen or employee helps to save the injured, heart attack, cardiac arrest, unconsciousness, shock, gases, smoke or fire victims and property, then he will be honored by DBG with a gold medal and a certificate of appreciation.
He said that training and certificates in disaster management, civil defense, first aid and fire safety are also provided free of cost to the students. In this regard, a request letter has also been submitted to the Deputy Commissioner and District Education Officer Secondary, Patiala.
The Principal of the school, Mrs. Sarla Bhatnagar, thanked the Dedicated Brothers Group and said that their NCC cadets and other students have been honored with gold medals and certificates of appreciation. She said that to save themselves and the lives of the victims, every student, teacher and citizen should take training in civil defense, first aid and fire safety.
