Zojila:- A powerful avalanche (snowfall) has been reported near Zero Point in Zojila, Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. Due to this natural disaster, many passenger vehicles have been trapped under snow and debris.
According to the information received, about 3 to 4 vehicles were caught in the grip of this avalanche. The matter of relief is that so far there is no news of anyone getting injured or losing their lives in this incident, due to which the administration and passengers have breathed a sigh of relief.
Officials said that the road has been closed immediately after the incident for security reasons. Rescue and cleaning operations are being carried out rapidly to remove the debris and restore traffic at the scene.
