SAS Nagar, April 27 - Senior Team Mayor of Mohali Municipal Corporation Kuljit Singh Bedi has said, BJP is spreading communal hatred by diverting people's attention from the real issues due to rumors of defeat in the country's elections. And the BJP leaders are constantly lying about the Congress manifesto.

He said that he wants to tell the people of the country and Punjab that the word Muslim has not been used anywhere in the Congress manifesto, nor has there been any talk of giving the Mangal Sutra of women to anyone. He said that BJP's propaganda of taking away one house if someone has two houses and giving it to someone else if they have more than one car is also a bridge of lies. He said that in fact the votes cast in the first two phases have disturbed the sleep of the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party and because of this the BJP leaders have again come down to Hindus/Muslims.

Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi condemned the Akali Dal and said that there can be no other opportunistic party like the Akali Dal which can compromise with a communal party like the BJP to gain power. He said that the Akali Dal should have come to an agreement with the BJP again, but after the renewed struggle of the farmers, the Akali Dal has started playing politics of religion by running slogans like regional party and Panthak party.

He said that the Aam Aadmi Party, which promised to establish law and order in Punjab, end corruption, make Punjab drug free, give MSP to farmers and 1000 per month to women, has reneged on all the promises and lost the trust of the people.

He said that if anyone can save the country and the constitution and give a new path to the country's progress, then it is the Congress. He said that the voter of India is very aware and understands everything, so this time he has full hope that the Congress and India alliance government will be formed at the center in these elections.
