Giving information, the state president of the organization Bibi Gurbakhsh Kaur Sangha said that women's meetings are being held for the preparation of this program.
Addressing a meeting at Durgapur village near here today, he said that even today there is gross discrimination against women. Even today, in the country's male-dominated society, women are being subjected to the feudal thinking and oppression of the society. The number of girls in the society is still less than boys which proves that the society's thinking towards girls is not completely free from discrimination. A woman is a victim of domestic violence and male domination. The incidents of rape and molestation of women describe the social condition of women. He said that women need to mobilize and struggle to get their rights. Women have to get their rights themselves. He said that still a large part of women are confined within the four walls of their homes. In many fields, women are struggling for equality with men.
