Hoshiarpur- Admission process has started for the new academic session 2025-26 in JC DAV College Dasuha. This information was given by the Principal of the college Prof. Rakesh Mahajan while sharing with famous social worker and senior journalist Sanjeev Kumar.
He told that the college is affiliated to Punjab University Chandigarh and undergraduate and postgraduate courses are conducted here. The first counseling for undergraduate courses will be held from 23 June to 28 June 2025, while admissions for the remaining seats will start from 30 June. Counseling for postgraduate courses is to start from 1 July.
Principal Mahajan further said that the plant of education planted by Pandit Jagdish Chandra Sharma in 1971 has not only made its mark in the merit list of Punjab University Chandigarh through academic, cultural and sports achievements, but also has its own unique place at the national level.
Undergraduate courses in the college include BSc (Medical, Post-Medical, Computer Science), BSc (Biotic), BA, BCom, BCA and postgraduate courses include MA (Punjabi, English), MSc (Maths, IT, Chemistry, Zoology, Physics) and PGDCA.
On this occasion, the Principal of the college, Prof. Rakesh Mahajan felicitated social worker and senior journalist Sanjeev Kumar on behalf of the college. Dr. Deepak Kumar, Dr. Seetal Singh, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Amit Sharma, Dr. Bhanu Gupta and Dr. Dharmendra Sharma were also present on the occasion. The college administration has appealed to the students and their parents to secure their seats by taking admission on time.
