Youth to play an important role to make the state Rangla Punjab: Ravinder Kaur

Patiala, December 29 - The Department of Youth Services, Punjab Government has released financial assistance for the activation of youth services clubs working in the district. Assistant Director Youth Services Patiala Dr Dilwar Singh said that Minister of Youth Services Department Gurmeet Singh Meet Hare and Principal Secretary of Youth Services Department Sarabjit Singh and Harpreet Singh Sudan as per the guidelines of Director Youth Services under the able leadership of Deputy Commissioner Patiala Sakshi Sahni.

Patiala, December 29 - The Department of Youth Services, Punjab Government has released financial assistance for the activation of youth services clubs working in the district. Assistant Director Youth Services Patiala Dr Dilwar Singh said that Minister of Youth Services Department Gurmeet Singh Meet Hare and Principal Secretary of Youth Services Department Sarabjit Singh and Harpreet Singh Sudan as per the guidelines of Director Youth Services under the able leadership of Deputy Commissioner Patiala Sakshi Sahni. Grants were released to active youth service clubs of Assistant Commissioner (J) Ravinder Singh encouraged all the youth clubs present to participate more in the field of social service. He said that it is a great initiative of the Youth Services Department that the Youth Services Clubs are being activated to distribute the hand of the government in the activities of the society. He said that the clubs who are contributing in social activities like blood donation, awareness against drugs, sports and in making Punjab Rangla Punjab are being given this assistance in the form of awards and grants which will make them even more. By working in the social sector, by saving the society from evils, by giving good guidance to the youth, to contribute more and more in making Punjab a prosperous Punjab.
   Dr. Dilwar Singh, Assistant Director, Youth Services, Patiala, said that with this assistance, the youth services clubs can spend this assistance amount by purchasing sports equipment or equipment required for social activities according to their level and need. Dr. Dilwar Singh thanked all the personalities who came. Rajesh Sharma, patron of Basant Ritu Youth Club Tripdi Patiala also highlighted the activities being done by youth service clubs and said that his club distributed jerseys and boots to 800 children of 38 government schools and seeing the water shortage in six schools. Tubewells were installed and every month ten patients are treated with free eye lens operations.
