CBSE declares results of 10th and 12th, girls outshine boys again.

In the 12th class examination, girls have scored five percent more marks than boys this time. This time the pass percentage was 88.39, which is slightly higher than last year's 87.98 percent. The pass percentage of girls was 91.64 while that of boys was 85.70 percent. The pass percentage of transgender candidates was 100 percent, which was 50 percent last year.
This year, 1,11,544 candidates have scored more than 90 percent marks while the number of students who have scored more than 95 percent is 24,867. More than 1.29 lakh students have been compartmented. A total of 16,92,794 candidates had appeared for the 12th board exams.
Bhardwaj said that more than 93 percent students have been successful in clearing the 10th board exam while girls have been ahead by a margin compared to boys. This year, the pass percentage was 93.66 percent, which is marginally higher than last year's pass percentage of 93.60.
The pass percentage of girls and boys is 95 and 92.63 percent respectively. The pass percentage of transgender candidates is 95 percent as compared to last year's 91.30 percent. The number of candidates who scored more than 90 percent marks is more than 1.99 lakh while 45,516 candidates have scored more than 95 percent marks. The number of students who have got compartment is more than 1.41 lakh. A total of 23,71,939 candidates had appeared for the CBSE 10th board examination this year.
