MLA Kulwant Singh visits temples of Mohali constituency on the occasion of Janam Ashtami.

A procession was taken out jointly by the temple committees at Aerocity on the occasion of Janam Ashtami and langar was arranged. Apart from this, MLA Kulwant Singh also attended the temple Thakur Dara - Suhana, temple Bal Bharti located at Mataur, Sri Sat Narayan Temple - Mataur, and Sri Durga Temple located at Phase-10.
On this occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh while talking to the reporters said that today, on the occasion of Janmashtami, the holy festival of Janmashtami is being celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm by the devotees in every corner of the country. We need to implement the teachings given by Lord Krishna in the Gita for the overall social harmony, so that our social environment remains green.
MLA Kulwant Singh while talking to the reporters said that he has participated in the religious functions held in the temples of the constituency. The people have taken out a procession with great devotion, and langars have been arranged at various places. The enthusiasm being shown by the devotees at the welcome gates and among the devotees during these processions was palpable. The devotees were serving each other in front of each other.
MLA Kulwant Singh further said that the festival of Janmashtami by the devotees is a symbol of mutual harmony and the communal harmony among the people is further strengthened when such festivals are celebrated jointly. Senior AAP leaders - Kuldeep Singh Samana, Harmesh Singh Kumbara, Avtar Singh Mauli, Bhupinder Singh, Jaspal Singh Mataur, Baljit Singh Happy were also present on the occasion.
