Una, October 19 - SDM Vishwa Mohan Dev Chauhan held a meeting with various political parties in the context of the special summary revision 2024 eligibility date of January 1, 2024.
In the meeting, Electoral Registration Officer Vishwa Mohan Dev Chauhan told that under the Special Brief Revision 2024, the draft electoral list with photographs will be published on October 27 at all the polling booths of 44-Una Assembly Constituency. He said that citizens completing 18 years of age on or before January 1, 2024, should approach the designated officers at their polling booths from 3 to 5 pm on office days from October 27 to December 9 and from 10 am to 5 pm on other days. You can submit your application till 10 pm.
Apart from this, he said that 28th October, 29th October, 18th November and 19th November 2023 have been kept as special days in which all the designated officers, booth level agents and booth level agents will be present and will accept applications from 10 am to 5 pm.
The SDM urged the political parties to encourage eligible citizens aged 18 to 21 years to register their names in the voter list and ensure their participation in voting. He said that any eligible citizen can also apply online through voters-eci-gov-in and voter helpline app.
Workers/members of various political parties including election Kanungo Harjeet Singh were present in the meeting.
