Hoshiarpur- State Awardee, International Cyclist Balraj Singh Chauhan cycled 108 km from Hoshiarpur to Khatkar Kalan, his ancestral home, on the occasion of the birthday of revolutionary Shaheed Bhagat Singh and paid tribute to him.
He said that he found peace by putting the soil of Shaheed Bhagat Singh's house on his head, he used to reach Khatkar Kalan on the occasion of Bhagat Singh's martyrdom day for a long time. But for the first time he reached on his birthday too.
Chauhan appealed to the youth to fulfill the dreams of the martyrs and to be ready to protect the unity and integrity of the country.
