Chandigarh, September 28- Haryana Minister of State for Sports Mr. Gaurav Gautam said that in the present time, there is a need to promote Sanatan culture while mentioning Sanatan traditions. The youth generation should adopt Sanatan culture instead of Western culture. They should take a resolution to stay away from drugs and should contribute to the progress of the country and the state while wishing for world peace.
Mr. Gaurav Gautam was speaking as the chief guest at the Sanatan Culture Award Distribution Program organized in Palwal on Sunday. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has placed before us the image of a developed and self-reliant India. He said that if Sanatan culture moves forward on the path of safety and prosperity, then the path for the welfare of world humanity will be prepared.
He said that to increase awareness among the youth about Sanatan culture, its scientific and logical bases should be understood, in which respect for nature, way of life and various values ??should be emphasized. The youth need to be explained about Gita, Ramayana, Vedas and Puranas etc.
He asked the youth to make sports a part of their lives and follow the path of discipline, hard work and sacrifice. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, Haryana has become a power house of sports. Reservation has been provided for players in direct recruitment of posts from Class-One to Class-Four.
He encouraged the youth to stay away from drugs, saying that drugs are an evil that not only destroys the individual but also the entire family and society.
