Hoshiarpur - The 100th anniversary of the departure of the great warrior Bebe Gulab Kaur, who supported the Ghadri Babas in the freedom struggle of the country until her last breath and sacrificed every moment of her life for the country, is being celebrated at Baba Harnam Singh Tundilat Memorial School, village Kotla Naudh Singh, district Hoshiarpur, by all the residents of the town, Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee Jalandhar and all the pro-people organizations of the area on Sunday, July 27, 2025.
In which there will be a discussion about the contribution of Ghadri Bebe Gulab in the freedom struggle and the unspeakable and unbearable torture faced by the village. Ghadri Baba Harnam Singh Tundilat, Baba Amar Singh, Baba Shiv Singh, born in village Kotla Naudh Singh, along with all the freedom fighters of the village and the area will be paid homage with respect. Songs praising patriotism and the sacrifice of the martyrs will also be sung.
Professor Ajmer Singh Aulakh's play "Tu Charkha Ghukda Rakh Jinde" based on the life of Bebe Gulab Kaur ji will also be presented as a tribute to Bebe ji by the team of Lok Kala Manch Mansa under the direction of Ajmeet. To make this centenary event a success, the villagers and pro-people supporting organizations are holding continuous meetings and finalizing the outline of the entire event. Special contact is being made with the family members of the patriotic revolutionaries of the area.
