India's response to India's expulsion of an Indian diplomat has increased the tension between Canada and India

New Delhi, September 19 In the case of the murder of Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijhar in Canada, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's statement in the Parliament of Canada regarding the involvement of an agent of the Indian government in the matter and Canada's extradition of an Indian diplomat to Canada.

After being sent back from India, the tension between the two countries has increased and taking retaliatory action in this matter, the Ministry of External Affairs of India has ordered the senior diplomat of Canada to leave India within five days. The Ministry said that this decision reflects the growing concern of the Government of India regarding the interference of Canadian ambassadors in our internal affairs and their involvement in anti-India activities.

Along with this, the Government of India has also issued instructions to take action against Khalistani supporters. Officials say that Khalistanis had issued posters with the names of Indian ambassadors, taking action on which India has summoned the ambassador of Canada. It is believed that the relationship between India and Canada is going to deteriorate further after this incident.

It is worth mentioning here that Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) chief Hardeep Singh Nijhar (45) was shot dead by two unknown assailants outside a Gurdwara in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada on June 18. In this regard, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau said in his address in the House of Commons, the lower house of Parliament, that Canadian security agencies are actively investigating serious allegations of involvement of an agent of the Indian government in the murder of Canadian citizen Hardeep Singh Nijhar. Trudeau said that any kind of involvement by a foreign government in the murder of a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil is unacceptable and a violation of our sovereignty.

Responding to Trudeau's allegations, India dismissed them as baseless. India today rejected Canada's allegations that Indian agents could be involved in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

The Indian government has previously denied any role in Nijjar's murder. It has already been raised in Canada that Nijhar was killed by Indian agents. But India has rejected these allegations against it.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement this morning saying that the statement made by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Parliament has been scrutinized. I have also heard the statement of his foreign minister. We reject the allegations made by the Canadian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
