Hoshiarpur- Under the directions of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur Rajinder Agarwal, a special awareness camp was organized by the District Legal Services Authority at Purhiran today.
Mayor of the Municipal Corporation Surinder Kumar specially attended this camp. He appreciated this initiative of the District Legal Services Authority and said that making the common people aware about legal aid is the main need of the hour today.
During this, panel advocate Shweta Sharma and paralegal volunteer Balvir Singh provided detailed information about free legal consultation, lawyer services for litigation in civil, criminal and revenue courts at the sub-divisional courts, district courts, Honorable High Court or Honorable Supreme Court level, court fees, court fees, witness expenses, lawyer fees and other miscellaneous expenses related to the case, government reimbursement of miscellaneous expenses, settlement of disputes through mediation and Lok Adalats and free services of lawyers during remand to every prisoner/criminal.
