Patiala June 12, 2025- Today, District President of Punjab Forest Department Employees Regd. Forest Division Committee Patiala, Mr. Virpal Singh Lumba and State President Balbir Singh Mandoli and Forest Range President Secretary held an emergency meeting under the leadership of District DFO Gurmanpreet Singh PFS and Tehsil Forest Range Officer and Block Officer regarding the pending and withheld salary and miscellaneous demands of the employees of the Forest Division and stressed on the legitimate demands of the employees.
It was assured that the pending and withheld salary will be paid within four days. No illegal layoffs will be done. Old hardworking employees working in the department will be given work on priority basis. Muster list will be pasted on the notice board in front of Tehsil Range offices.
All employees will be given work by increasing the target in departmental works. Regarding the plants being planted out of season and illegal encroachments, they will be cut and encroachments will be demolished. With the consent of senior officials and the organization, the meeting of the meeting committee was concluded in a happy atmosphere.
On this occasion, Major Singh Lahore, Gurpreet Singh Nabha, Lajwanti Samana, Kulwinder Singh Rajpura, Beant Singh Bhadason, Sadhu Singh Patiala, Harcharan Sirhind, Hardeep Singh Sauja, Ram Kishan, Major Chupki were present.
