Hoshiarpur- Mahindra Pride Class Nandi Foundation organized a six-day workshop at Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College Dumeli and Guru Nanak Khalsa College Droli Kalan, educational institutions running under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, the main objective of which was to make girls self-reliant by providing them skill training and employment.

During this workshop, special expert Rajiv Kumar shared scholarly information about communication skills, job opportunities, group discussions, resume preparation, video networking, critical thinking, digital identity, job interview, social media, ethics, saving techniques, time management, understanding of budget, etc. in a very simple manner with various examples from life.
Addressing the girl students, the coordinator of this workshop, Prof. Damanjit Kaur said that if the girl students get opportunities to become self-reliant, then they can spend their future life comfortably. On this occasion, the girl students were honored with certificates and medals. During this, the girl students of the college shared their experiences gained in the workshop. All the staff members of the college were present on this occasion.
