AP feeder started from Sadhu Ashram substation due to efforts of MLA Jimpa.

Hoshiarpur- Giving priority to Hoshiarpur assembly constituency, former cabinet minister and MLA Brahmshankar Jimpa today inaugurated the new 11 kV AP feeder from 66 kV substation located at Sadhu Ashram to Patiyarian. This feeder was started specifically for the purpose of underloading on the already running Jahan Khel Kandi AP feeder, which will improve the quality of voltage and reduce the incidents of tripping.

This feeder was started specifically for the purpose of underloading on the already running Jahan Khel Kandi AP feeder, which will improve the quality of voltage and reduce the incidents of tripping.
While giving information after inaugurating the new AP feeder, MLA Brahmshankar Jimpa said that this technical initiative will benefit thousands of consumers, especially farmers, who will now get better and stable power supply than before.
He said that under the leadership of Punjab Government, priority is being given to the basic needs of rural areas and this feeder is an important step in this direction. The MLA said that with the start of the feeder, the load on AP connections connected to Jahan Khel feeder will be reduced, which will bring stability in voltage supply and will also provide relief from the problem of frequent tripping.
This will especially benefit those farmers who irrigate agriculture through motors. Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that with the commissioning of this feeder, dozens of villages like Allahabad, Jahan Khel, Dallewal, Droli, Patiyarian, Dada Buada, Mahilawali, Ali Di Bassi, Bassi Mustafa, Kharkan, Chak Sadhu, Upper Kharkan and Chak Haroli will get direct benefit. He assured that in the coming time, better electricity facility will be ensured in every village of Hoshiarpur constituency.
On this occasion, former Chairman of Municipal Council Ajay Mohan Babbi, Deputy Chief Engineer Jaswinder Singh Virdi, Additional Superintendent Engineer Gurjinder Singh, Sub-Divisional Officer Jaswinder Singh, Vikrant Joshi, Sarpanch Preetpal Singh, Sarpanch Kharkan Pradeep Singh, Randhir Singh Kharkan, Sarpanch Bassi Jamal Khan, Jatinder Pal Singh, former Sarpanch Chak Sadhu Raj Kumar, Prem Singh, Hira Singh, Garbaksh Singh, Sarpanch Bajwara Rakesh Babbu, Baljinder Sonu Allahabad, Assistant SDO Rakesh Kumar, JE Surinder Pal, Sunny Thakur, Manish Saini and substation staff were also present.
