Patiala: Today, on the occasion of 23rd death anniversary of Late Smt. Devibai, mother of Late Pradhan Shri Motan Das Hasija ji, members of Hasija family and Sudhar Sabha offered Prasad at the temple and arranged langar of Kadhi rice and cold sweet Chhabil near the idol of Shiv ji.
Ranjit Singh Chandok MC Ward No. 32 took out special time to serve the langar. On this occasion Mukesh Kumar (Kalu), Ajay Kumar, Puran, Hari Chauhan, Mithun, Ram Lal Goyal, Surinder Pathak, Gurpreet Singh served by planting 12 shady trees.
The park built by Sudhar Sabha near the temple is maintained by Puran ji, Head Cashier of Sudhar Sabha. On this occasion, Vice Chairman Hari Singh Chauhan said that someone else plants a tree and gets photographed, but there are very few people who take care of it.
A gardener has also been hired to monitor it. Satnam Singh Hasija said that with the blessings of Mata Ji, the Hasija family serves by planting trees and serving langar every year and will continue to do so in the future too.
