Patiala: Date 3 June- Today a big gathering of Punjab Forest Department Employees Union Regd. with the employees of the Forest Division of Forest Department Patiala was held in Nehru Park under the leadership of District President Virpal Singh Lumba and Balveer Singh Mandoli and Deputy President Major Singh Bared. In the meeting, it was decided by the union that the Punjab government has not released the funds for the last four months.
Due to which the employees of the forest department have not been given the salary for February, March and April, May 2025. Due to which all the employees are finding it difficult to maintain their household. The employees are being deprived of meeting their essential needs.
The organization has decided that by submitting a memorandum to the office of Deputy Commissioner Patiala on 10 June 2025, the next state level protest will be held on 20 June 2025 in front of the head office of Punjab Forest and Wildlife Protection Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak in Forest Complex Sector 68 Mohali. The personal responsibility of the welfare of the employees will be of the administrative staff of the Punjab Government and the Forest Department.
Many employees are being continuously removed from work, salaries are not being paid and the future of the employees is being played with. Due to which the employees are forced to protest against the minister of the department and the Punjab Government. It is important for every employee to reach this protest so that we can make our voice of rights reach the government.
Mantej Singh Sat Mohali, Kulwant Singh Thuhi Nabha, Paramjit Kaur Mahadian District Fatehgarh, Harcharan Singh Barouchi Sirhind, Beant Singh Bhadason were present on this occasion. Lajo Major, Ram Krishna Samana, Harpreet Singh Lochma Rajpura, Syam Khamano, Bhupinder Singh (FGS), Kulwinder Singh Khanpur, Gurmel Singh, Karnail Singh, apart from fellow workers arrived in large numbers to participate.
