Jalandhar- The 34th Gadri Baba Mela will be dedicated to the 100th death anniversary of Gadar Movement leader Bibi Gulab Kaur. The Gadri Baba Mela, which touches new heights every year, will give a strong message this year in the context of the life story of Gadri Gulab Kaur to the women of our times, who are facing various types of slavery, discrimination, humiliation and oppression, that the path of mass struggle is the only good way to bring new spring in the courtyard of the people with a passionate spirit like Gadri Gulab Kaur, together with all the working classes.

Today, in the meeting of the Trust Board of Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee, it was decided that the heirs of Gadri fighters living in the country and abroad should start vigorous preparations from now itself to participate in the fair, which will reach its peak on 1 November 2025, through gatherings, publicity campaigns and caravans.
Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee Chairman Ajmer Singh, General Secretary Prithipal Singh Marimegha, Vice President Kulwant Singh Sandhu, Finance Secretary Seetal Singh Sangha, Joint Secretary Charanji Lal Kangniwal and Cultural Wing Convenor Amolak Singh shared the decisions of today's meeting with the press and said that on Saturday, 28 June, special discussions will be held on the most burning issues in Shaheed Vishnu Ganesh Pingale Hall built inside Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall.
In which the work of making people aware about the communal fascist attack done at various levels by the World Bank, World Trade Organization, global and domestic corporate houses to completely destroy our country's forests, water, land, education, health, employment, literature, culture, language etc. and to suppress the voice of the people will be done. In the meeting, a proposal was passed to take up the work of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha Manch and GT Road on priority basis to resonate the forgotten songs of Gadar patriots and revolutionaries and to implement the decision to install sound system in all the seminar and auditorium halls of Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall.
Senior Trustee Surinder Kumari Kochhar was thanked for providing special financial assistance for the sound system. The Trust Board stood up and paid tribute to CPI Maoist General Secretary Comrade Keshav Rao and dozens of communist revolutionaries including women comrades. Apart from this, floral tributes were also paid to Comrade Darshan Singh, Sewa Singh Navipur Tarn Taran Patti, Prem Singh Mandhali of RMPI Gurdaspur.
It was also decided in the meeting that keeping in view the paddy sowing season in June, a trainee awareness camp will be organized in Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall in the month of September. Apart from the office bearers, senior trustees Surinder Kumari Kochar, Dr. Parminder Singh, Hardev Singh Arshi, Gurmeet Singh, Ranjit Singh Aulakh, Pargat Singh Jamarai were also present in today's meeting.
