SAS Nagar, May 21- On behalf of Maa Annapurna Seva Samiti, Mohali, Swami Dr. Brahma Swaroop Maharaj Thakurdwara Mandir provided religious books, pens, pencils, erasers, notebooks, bath soap, laundry soap, toothbrushes, detergents, sugar, rice, flour, gram flour, salt, tea leaves, Rooh Afza, pulses, and three sacks of wheat to the children of Ved Shiksha Mandir Gurukul operating at New Cricket Stadium, Village Teera, New Chandigarh. In addition, an Amla plant was presented to Swami Ji and Swami Vagish Swaroop Ji Maharaj for environmental protection.

Giving details, Brijmohan Joshi said that under the Indian Gurukul education system, studies of Veda grammar, Sanskrit, rituals, Hindi, English, and computer science are provided free of cost, and all the arrangements for the children's stay, food and drink are made by the Gurukul. On this occasion, Anita Joshi, Saroj Babbar, Meenu Sharma, Neena Garg, Bina Dhiman, Shishpal Garg, and Keshavanand Hans were present on behalf of the committee.
