Garhshankar/Hoshiarpur, May 20: District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Ramandeep Kaur said that a placement camp was successfully organized in Ward No. 13 Garhshankar today under the leadership of Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Raudi.
In this placement camp, about 10 industrial units including Sonalika Tractor Company Hoshiarpur, Quantum Paper Mill Cell, Vardhman Textile Company Hoshiarpur, Checkmate Security, Double Bareilly Jeans, King Edward School Mahilpur, Synergy Ethyl Mahilpur, Ek Pariyas Drug-De Addiction Center Garhshankar, SBS School Garhshankar and ICS Food Limited, shortlisted the candidates after the interview process for various posts.
Candidates (both boys and girls) with educational qualifications like 8th, 10th, 12th, ITI (Mechanical all trades), Graduate and Post Graduate, aged between 18 to 35 years participated in this placement camp. 108 candidates participated in this camp and out of which 75 eligible candidates were shortlisted by the companies.
Placement Officer Rakesh Kumar, Young Professional Vikram Singh, Manohar Lal, Varinder Kumar, Ravinder Singh and Sandeep Singh from District Employment Office Hoshiarpur were also present in this placement camp.
