Singapore, April 22 - An Indian national was charged in a Singapore court on Tuesday with molesting a 28-year-old cabin crew member during a Singapore Airlines flight. It is alleged that the man, identified as Rajat, allegedly grabbed the stewardess from behind and tried to drag her into the toilet with him during a Singapore Airlines flight at 11.20 am on February 28.

He was arrested after the plane arrived at Changi Airport. According to a report by Channel News Asia, court documents show that the incident took place during a flight from Australia to Singapore.
Rajat, 20, who appeared in court on Tuesday, said he intends to plead guilty. According to the channel, Rajat's case will be heard next on May 14.
According to Singaporean law, each charge of molestation can result in a sentence of up to three years in prison, a fine, and caning.
