
Lions Club Mohali and Leo Club Smiling organized a cleanliness drive.
Mohali, 7th November 2024 – Lions Club Mohali SAS Nagar Regd:, (District 321-F) in collaboration with Leo Club Mohali Smiling successfully organized a cleanliness drive as part of the “Swachhata Di Lehar” initiative of the Government of Punjab. The event was held at Government Model Senior Secondary School (School of Eminence), 3B1, SAS Nagar, Mohali in collaboration with Municipal Corporation and was enthusiastically attended by the club members, school students and staff.

Sanity Inspector Mr. Ravinder Kumar appreciated the efforts being made by the club to promote cleanliness and environmental awareness. To support proper hygiene and sanitation, Lions Club also donated dustbins to the school management to benefit the students and help maintain the school environment.
DEO Secondary, Mrs. Ginni Duggal and Principal, Mr. Shailendra Singh were thanked for their cooperation in offering the venue and supporting the initiative. Prominent personalities of Lions Club; These included MJF Lion Amit Narula (President), Lion Rajinder Chauhan (Secretary), MJF Lion Amandeep Singh Gulati (Zone Chairperson); Lion Harinder Pal Singh Harry Quest Club President; Lion Jaswinder Singh (Leo Club Advisor); and Lion members. Lion Jatinder Pal Singh (Prince) was a special contributor to the success of the event.
Members of Smiling Leo Club Mohali; including Club President Leo Zafar; Club Secretary Leo Ayush Bhasin; and Club members Leo Gurpreet Singh; and Leo Agamjot Kaur; played a vital role in organizing and conducting the cleanliness drive and motivated students and community members to fulfill their responsibilities towards keeping their surroundings clean.
This collaborative event marks another step forward in promoting environmental awareness in Mohali, with both clubs committed to organizing more initiatives for a clean, green community.
