
"Punjab Education Revolution", MP Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal inaugurates 2 new classrooms and boundary wall in Bassi Kalan School
Hoshiarpur: Taking another golden step in the field of education, MP from Hoshiarpur Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal inaugurated two modern classrooms and boundary wall built at a cost of Rs. 20 lakhs in Government Senior Secondary School, Bassi Kalan under the "Punjab Education Revolution" campaign.
Hoshiarpur: Taking another golden step in the field of education, MP from Hoshiarpur Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal inaugurated two modern classrooms and boundary wall built at a cost of Rs. 20 lakhs in Government Senior Secondary School, Bassi Kalan under the "Punjab Education Revolution" campaign.
With this effort, the school's infrastructure has been strengthened and a better study environment has been made available for the students. Addressing the people during the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Chabbewal said that there has been a lot of improvement in government schools in the last few years. Today, these schools are no less than any private school. The increasing competitive environment for admissions in government schools is a clear proof that we are moving in the right direction.
He also appreciated the "Business Blaster Scheme" which promotes entrepreneurship and self-reliance among students. Through this scheme, students are implementing their new business ideas which will prove beneficial for their future.
During the program, the students displayed their skills brilliantly. Food items like burgers, pao bhaji, veg biryani, soya chap and fruit chart were placed on the stalls set up by them, which were highly appreciated by Dr. Chabbewal. Apart from these, the projects prepared by the students based on environment conservation, traffic control and water conservation also caught everyone's attention.
Dr. Chabbewal said that these children are the builders of India's bright future. Fulfilling the promise of filling the shortage of teachers in the education sector, he said that the vacant posts of teachers in the assembly constituency have been filled and all the needs related to education will be met on priority basis.
On this occasion, the annual prize distribution ceremony of the school was also organized, in which meritorious students and their parents were honored. The colorful cultural performances presented by the students added to the grandeur of the ceremony.
The program was attended by Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary) Dheeraj Vashishth, School Principal Jitinder Singh, Principal Bharat Bhushan, Rajneesh Kumar Guliani, Sarpanch Naresh Kumar, Ratan Chand, Jaswinder Singh, Vicky Chadha (Bassi Kalan), Sunita Devi (Bathula), Kushal Singh, Rajinder Singh, Kamaljit Kaur, Madan Lal (Parswal), Narinderpal, Amrit Sharma (Bassi Kalan), Babbo (Panch), Lucky Walia, Ashok Kumar, Fakir Chand (Former Block Committee Member), Ranjit Singh (Lekhi), besides Sarpanch, Panch, parents and hundreds of villagers from 11 nearby villages.
Everyone described this event as a symbol of the overall development of students and the positive changes coming in the field of education.
